[Español] Dear Parishioners: While much attention is given to the National Election, three of Fullerton's five City Council seats are up for election this November 3rd, including seats for the 1st and 4th Districts, almost entirely within the boundaries of St. Philip Benizi parish and the 2nd District includes many of our parishioners as well.  The decisions made by the Fullerton City Council in the coming years, in the context of the COVID-19 crisis and its aftermath, will have great impact on all our lives.  As such it will be imperative, especially in the poorer 4th district where many of our parish families rent, that you be confident that the representatives that you elect hear you.   But even as we will be inviting you to formulate questions for our local candidates and express your hopes to them for our parts of the city in the coming years, it is also important that you learn who these candidates are, and what positions they have at last up until now staked out.
