All are invited to a Zoom Interfaith Memorial Prayer Service on Tuesday, January 10th at 12:15 PM for the 45 people who died "Without Fixed Abode" in OC in December, 2022. Zoom info below. A total of 488 people "without fixed abode" have died here in OC since the beginning of the year, or 8.5% of the County's beginning of the year homeless population (by the federally mandated 2022 PIT Count ). It is also over 100 deaths higher than the 381 deaths among those "without fixed abode" who died in OC in 2021, and well over double the 209 deaths recorded for 2019, the last full year before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
