All are invited to a Zoom Interfaith Memorial Prayer Service on Tuesday, February 14th at 12:15 PM for the 47 people who died "Without Fixed Abode" in OC in January, 2023 and the 2 others who had died in December, 2022 but had still gone unrecorded last month. Zoom info below. The 47 deceased last month corresponds to an unfortunate "new normal" of the County for this time of year. In December, 47 people also died on our streets. In January of last year 46 people had died. To appreciate how much the death toll has increased over the last several years, 40 people died "without fixed abode" in OC in January 2021 and only 20 and 14 had died in 2020 and 2019 respectively. So some three times as many people "without fixed abode" have been dying in recent years on our streets in January as were dying in 2019. Fr.
