Hello, All are invited to a Zoom Interfaith Memorial Prayer Service for OC's Homeless Deceased. Tuesday, Oct 12th at 12:15 PM Another 31 people died "without fixed abode" in Sept, 2021, bringing the year's total to date to 291 lives lost, over TWICE the number, 142, to have died "without fixed abode" from the beginning of the year to the end of Sept in 2019, the last year before COVID-19. In 2020 the number of deceased "without fixed abode" at this was 244. So we are on track to have the worst year for the homeless of Orange County since we started to publicize the death tolls in 2018. Does it have to be this way? Of course not. But this is the day-to-day, month-to-month, year-to-year cost of inaction. Once again, let us remember their names. Fr.
