All are invited to a Zoom Interfaith Memorial Prayer Service for OC's Homeless Deceased.

Tuesday, August 10th at 12:15 PM

39 People died "Without Fixed Abode" in July 2021 in Orange County including four in Fullerton.  County wide, this is the second highest number of deceased in a month's time since we've started publishing the lists of the deceased in 2018.  The largest number of deceased was in January 2021 when 40 people died in OC "Without Fixed Abode."

With regards to Fullerton, 8 people died "Without Fixed Abode" in all of 2019, the last year before the onset of COVID-19.  In 2020, the number who died "Without Fixed Abode" was 18.  This year, the number is 11 (including 4 last month) with five months remaining in the calendar year.

Interfaith Prayer Service on Zoom, Tues, Aug 8th at 12:15 PM for the 47 People "Without Fixed Abode" who died in July 2023 in OC

   All are invited to a Zoom Interfaith Memorial Prayer Service on Tuesday,  Aug 8th at 12:15 PM for the 47 people who died "Without Fixed Abode" in OC in July, 2023 as well as the 1 other person who had died in June, 2023 but had still gone unrecorded last month.   Zoom info below. The 48 person death toll continues the sad record breaking pace for the year.  All told, 308 people "without fixed abode" have already died in the County this year, a number 10% higher than the then record breaking 288 people who had died last year at this point in time.   If things do not change, then 528 people "without fixed abode will have died in the County by the end of the year an equivalent of 9.2% of the County's homeless population (counted to be 5718 in the last PIT Count conducted in January 2022) having died in this County by the end of the year.    All are invited to a Zoom Interfaith Memorial Prayer Service on Tuesday,  Oct 10th at 12:15 PM for the 51 people who died "Without Fixed Abode" in OC in August, 2023 as well as the 2 other people who had died in previous months but had still gone unrecorded until now.   Zoom info below. The 53 person death toll continues the sad record breaking pace for the year.  All told, exactly 400 people "without fixed abode" have already died in the County this year, with three months to go.   If things do not change, then 533 people "without fixed abode will have died in the County by the end of the year an equivalent of 9.3% of the County's homeless population (counted to be 5718 in the last PIT Count conducted in January 2022) having died in this County by the end of the year.
